At Yellowstone Basin Inn, our number one priority is to provide our guests with unforgettable experiences in Yellowstone National Park, Montana, and the Rocky Mountain West. With an in-depth knowledge of Yellowstone, including its spectacular landmarks and lesser-known back road treasures, we love helping guests plan their adventures. We are also happy to provide up-to-date information about special events, road and weather reports, transportation details, and the area’s unlimited activities.
In the evenings, guests can relax on the scenic front porch with fellow travelers and compare the experiences of the day and the plans for the next. We want all of our guests to feel as if they are visiting family and friends, and we pride ourselves on offering personalized attention with staff on hand at all times.
Concierge
In his more than 20 years of experience working in the hospitality industry, Greg Strauss has learned what truly makes a vacation special: it’s all about relaxing. With that in mind, Greg heads up the Yellowstone Basin Inn’s Guest Services to help you plan every aspect of your Yellowstone vacation. He wants to make sure that guests don’t spend time worrying or planning too much ahead of time. Instead, they can relax and leave the details to him.
Dining
Breakfast: Enjoy your breakfast with other guests in our newly set up Electric Peak room, or sun filled east facing back deck, or on the covered porch with spectacular views of Electric Peak and the Yellowstone River.
A complimentary home cooked from sctrach breakfast buffet is served daily, with a selection of fresh baked pastries, and assortment of hot oatmeal, cold cereals, and granola, and fresh brewed coffee, a collection of teas, hot chocolate, juice, or milk. The main dish, which alternates daily, made with local, sustainable, and organic ingredients whenever possible, is French toast casserole, vegetable quiche, Mexican casserole, or chili egg puff. The side dish varies according to season and availability, and ranges from baked apples, pears or bananas, roasted potatoes, sausages, or baked pancakes.
We are able to accommodate dairy free, gluten free, vegetarian, and vegan requirements with 24-48 hours advanced notice.
Lunches: We are currently offering sandwiches to go. We have a choice of two kinds of meat sandwiches, vegetarian or peanut butter sandwiches. We also offer bottle of water, same day made from scratch cookie, choice of veggie or fruit, and choice of chips. We can provide guests with coolers and ice packs upon request.
Dinner: At Yellowstone Basin Inn, we can offer dinner recommendations, ranging from casual to fine dining, in Gardiner, Yellowstone National Park, Paradise Valley, Livingston, Bozeman, and beyond.

Soak under Montana’s big sky, and enjoy the starry nights in our 15-jet hot tub spa, with a new salt water system that allows for minimal chemical usage.
